Answer to Yesterday’s Trivia Question: Okay Star Trek fans – this one’s for you: I’ll give you the gist of the storyline, you give me the creature’s name. The creatures lived on a planet in which it mined just under the planet surface, creating tunnels. The creatures had a lifespan of 60,000 until all but one died. That one was protecting a nest of eggs and when a group of off-world miners came and setup driller ops, the creature killed all of them. Only until Mr. Spock created a mental contact with the creature, was peace restored and the creature was allowed to continue to protect its unborn offspring. What was the name of the creature?
