A third season of Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force is on tap for A&E Network starting March 17 at 10p with stacked half-hour episodes.  Throughout 23 episodes, the real-life series follows Commander Lenny DePaul and his team as they track down high-profile and dangerous fugitives.  The series is produced for A&E by Stars & Stripes Media, Inc.

~ DISTRIBUTION, CLEARANCE & CARRIAGE ~

HBO GO, the network’s online streaming destination added 800 titles to its content list including all seasons of The Sopranos, Entourage, Sex and the City and True Blood, all which are produced by HBO.  The new list also includes movies and documentaries.  HBO GO’s roster of titles now totals 1,400.  Furthermore, HBO made a deal with Cox Communications to launch HBO GO and its sister service GO MAX.

~ PRODUCTION & DEVELOPMENT ~

After naming two other musical coaches earlier this week, NBC’s The Voice tapped Christina Aguilera as the third coach.  She joins Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine.  The Voice premieres on NBC April 12 at 9p.

Katie Cassidy (Melrose Place, Gossip Girl) will next be seen on ABC’s drama pilot Georgetown from executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.  The plot centers on the young up-and-comers behind the power elite in Washington, D.C.  The hour-long project has already cast James Wolk as Andrew Pierce, a charming and smart Yale grad who becomes the youngest Presidential speech writer ever.  Cassidy will play Nikki, a sharp junior staffer within the White House with close connections to the First Lady.  Daisy Betts also landed a role on the pilot as Samantha, a presidential staffer who has a romantic history with Andrew.

HBO is readying a second season of Boardwalk Empire and handed the role of “Bugsy” Siegel to Michael Zegen (Rescue Me).  Zegen will play the young aspiring gangster and use the name “Benny” in the series as Siegel didn’t acquire the nickname of “Bugsy” until the late 1930s.

Michael Rosenbaum will appear in all seven episodes of FOX’s upcoming new midseason comedy series Breaking In.  After playing a cameo role in the pilot episode as Dutch, the boyfriend of Melanie the safecracker (Odette Yustman), producers decided to include him in every episode for the first season.  Breaking In debuts on FOX April 6 and also stars Christian Slater as Oz, the leader of a team of counter-security gurus.  Bret Harrison as Reaper is a new recruit who is attracted to Melanie (Yustman).  Rosenbaum also shows up in the two-hour series finale of Smallville airing on The CW May 13 reprising his role as Lex Luthor.

Casting Call: Sundance Channel’s series Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys returns for a second season and is casting in Austin and Nashville.  The series explores the special relationship women have with their gay best friends.  The show is looking for straight women from the Austin and Nashville areas who have found real, lasting love with their gay best friends. Send an email to: [email protected] and include a brief bio, your name, age and profession.  Also, explain why you would be great on the show, what is happening in your life, relate why your relationship is so special and also include a photo and your contact phone numbers.
