On Friday, the programming service MyNetwork TV renewed by its station groups for another three years. Those groups continuing with MyNetwork TV include the ten FOX O&Os. FOX developed and launched MyNetwork in 2006 after CBS and Warner Bros. merged The WB and UPN to become The CW Network. The CW stayed on mostly WB affiliates paving the way for MyNetwork TV to launch on the UPN affiliates. MyNetwork TV has gone through three format changes and two years ago FOX turned MyNetwork TV into a programming service housing top-rated off-network shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Burn Notice, Without a Trace, Monk and others. As of last year, MyNetwork TV had increased by 194% to 2.65 million total viewers since it started in 2006.

My Strange Addiction on TLC picked up for a second season prior to the airing of the first season finale this Wednesday at 9p. My Strange Addiction produced by 20 West Productions, examines the lives of individuals struggling with extreme and bizarre addictions. TLC is also bringing back the series Hoarding: Buried Alive on March 2 at 10p, produced by Discovery Studios.
USA Network’s two-hour prequel film, Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe will debut April 17 at 9p. Produced by Fox Television Studios, the film is set in 2005 and stars Bruce Campbell as Lt. Commander Sam Axe.
