Jack Klugman‘s son was fuming over his father’s exclusion from a special tribute on Sunday’s Emmy show. “I think it’s criminal,” Adam Klugman told The Associated Press. “My dad was at the inception of television and helped build it in the early days.” Klugman and others were part of a traditional In Memoriam segment, but not the special tribute reserved for Cory Monteith, James Gandolfini, Jean Stapleton, Jonathan Winters and Gary David Goldberg.

Madmen creator Michael Weiner told The Hollywood Reporter “there’s no chance” of a spinoff for the AMC series, which is set to split its final season with seven episodes in the spring of 2014 and seven in 2015. “This is the story. When it’s done, it’s done,” said Weiner.

The countdown to the end of AMC‘s Breaking Bad begins with a marathon of seasons 1 to 4, airing Wednesday, September 25 through the finale on Sunday, September 29 at 9p, followed by Talking Bad, a live after-show featuring creator Vince Gilligan, Aaron Paul, Jesse Plemmons, RJ Mitte, Giancarlo Esposito and others. “We want to appropriately honor this remarkable series by delivering the ultimate, most immersive experience for Breaking Bad fans,” said Charlie Collier, president, AMC.
