USA Network ordered to pilot an adaptation of Elmore Leonard’s short story from the anthology When the Women Come Out to Dance from Cheryl Heuton and Nicolas Falacci, co-creators of the series Numb3rs.  The plot is about a Miami businessman who is contemplating a run for political office and tries to increase his chances of being elected by marrying a Columbian woman is on the run from her troubled past.  The project from Hypnotic was sold by Universal Cable Productions to NBC last year.

Production is commencing today on E!’s fourth series in the Kardashian franchise, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, per EW.  The series will debut in January.

Trisha Rae Stahl is joining the cast of FOX’s Glee in the recurring role as mother to Marley Rose (Melissa Benoist).  Stahl’s character was introduced on the show’s fourth season premiere last week.
