Portia de Rossi (Better Off Ted, Ally McBeal) is banking on making a return to TV in a comedy picked up by NBC.  The network approved the comedy about dueling sisters (with de Rossi playing one of the sisters) in a put pilot deal which would be executive produced by de Rossi’s wife Ellen DeGeneres via her company A Very Good Production based at Warner Bros.
