Another day, another mention of a potential new judge on American Idol. After his recent stint as a mentor on the FOX series, Harry Connick, Jr. confirmed he’s been approached about being a judge on the show next year. E! While Connick noted that his stints on the show have been “really fun,” he admitted that because of his upcoming tour schedule, it would be hard to make a commitment.
