The Food Network is cutting ties with Paula Deen. The cable channel has decided not to renew the cooking TV show queen’s contract when it expires the end of June. Deen, who joined the network in 1999 and hosts Paula’s Best Dishes and Paula’s Home Cooking, came under fire last week, when she admitted that she’d used racial slurs in a deposition. She released two videos apologizing on Friday.

It’ll be a busy Monday for Warner Bros: That’s because there’s plenty of talk that film chief Jeff Robinov will soon be stepping down from his position at the Hollywood movie studio. Robinov, who has served as president of Warner Bros. Pictures Group since 2007, may be looking for a new gig; he has reportedly not been happy, ever since Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes chose Kevin Tsujihara to run Warner Bros. Entertainment. The news comes on the heels of Bruce Rosenblum leaving Warner Bros. as head of its Television Group just last week to build a television division at Legendary Pictures. And now the buzz is that Legendary is about to end its eight-year production and distribution deal with Warner Bros, throwing the business to NBCUniversal.

On Friday, NBC released its fall premiere dates for 2013:
Monday, September 23: The Voice at 8p
Monday, September 23: The Blacklist at 10p
Tuesday, September 24: The Voice at 8p
Tuesday, September 24: Chicago Fire at 10p
Wednesday, September 25: Revolution at 8p
Wednesday, September 25: Law & Order: SVU at 9p
Thursday, September 26: Parks and Recreation at 8p
Thursday, September 26: The Michael J. Fox Show at 9p
Thursday, September 26: Parenthood at 10p
Friday, September 27: Dateline NBC at 9p
Wednesday, October 2: Ironside at 10p
Thursday, October 3: Welcome to the Family at 8:30p
Thursday, October 3: Sean Saves the World at 9p
Tuesday, October 8: The Biggest Loser at 8p
Friday, October 25: Dateline NBC (regular time slot) at 8p
Friday, October 25: Grimm at 9p
Friday, October 25: Dracula at 10p

Anger Management isn’t wasting any time looking for a new leading lady to replace Selma Blair. Blair exited the series last Tuesday, after reported friction between her and series star Charlie Sheen. The FX show released a casting breakdown on Friday for a sexy Latina or Caucasian actress in her 30s or 40s to play a “by-the-book” psychiatrist. The character will join Sheen’s in co-authoring the sex study research he and Kate (Blair) were working on before she left. The role will likely start with a multiple-episode guest-starring arc with the potential to become a regular.

Lifetime‘s Project Runway returns for its 12th season on Thursday, July 18 at 9p. Marking a series first, fans will be able to interact with viewers across the country during each episode through the interactive on-screen feature, PlayRunway, using smartphones, tablets and computers. Among the fan integration elements: viewers will get to chose a contestant from the past to compete this season and submit videos for a chance to win a fashion makeover. Project Runway is produced by The Weinstein Company, Bunim/Murray Productions and Full Picture Entertainment.

Switched at Birth star Cassi Thomson and Cierra Ramirez of The Fosters will participate in live Twitter chats during the East Coast feeds of their series on Monday, June 24 on ABC Family. Fans should tweet Thomson at @CassiNThomson from 8 to 9p include the hashtag #SwitchedAtBirthChat. Ramirez will chat from 9 to 10p. Fans should tweet her at @cierraramirez and include the hashtag #TheFostersChat.

Save the date! The annual Cynopsis: Sports Business Summit is set to take place on Aug. 14 in NY, and will feature some of the biggest names driving sports today. In addition, we are holding our Women of Action cocktail event celebrating and discussing the impact women are having in the sports industry on August 13.

In the race for Emmy gold, “Always on. Slightly off” IFC is trying something unusual. To snag a nomination for Portlandia, IFC took its budget (in the relatively low hundreds of thousands of bucks) and launched a “Vote Portlandia” campaign, featuring a video from Deputy Emmy Campaign Strategist James Carville, as well as lawn signs and press kits that anyone can order direct from IFC.com, featuring streamers, buttons, and more. “Your own office can be campaign headquarters!” enthuses Blake Callaway, IFC’s SVP, Marketing. Come July 18th, when the nominations are announced, Callaway and his cohorts have plans. “If we get nominated, we’ll have a celebration involving locally sourced beer, food trucks, gluten free baked goods, and some crawfish in honor of our campaign strategist. But if we’re not nominated, we have two new seasons of Portlandia, so we’ll probably head to a nearby feminist bookstore to get ideas for next time.”

Time Warner Cable Media (TWC Media) is starting a new client-solicitation campaign called “That’s How” to provide integrated marketing solutions. Beginning last week, “That’s How” began its six week appearance in 52 markets including New York City, Los Angeles and Dallas. We spoke to one happy client: Jim Wilkerson, General Sales Manager of Los Pines Toyota in Austin, TX. “I had a banner ad that ran on Field & Stream, Sports Illustrated, and CNN. Just 19days into the campaign, I was up 46% in digital leads,” he said.
