~ MORE GOOD STUFF ~

Upcoming new reality series Remodeled will have its launch moved to January 17 at 9p, on The CW, following the return of 90201.  The network will re-air the first two episodes of Remodeled multiple times during the show’s first two weeks.  After airing this repeat episode pattern, The CW will place Remodeled in its regular time period on Wednesdays at 9p out of the final season of One Tree Hill.  Ringer will then make a comeback in its Tuesday at 9p time slot starting January 31.

Syndicated daytime series The Nate Berkus Show is ending after this current second season.  Sony Pictures Television and Harpo Studios officially announced the cancelation though the show will continue in production and will deliver all scheduled original episodes.  The Nate Berkus Show, starring interior designer Nate Berkus was a spin-off of The Oprah Winfrey Show and premiered in 2010.

Lifetime has opted to cancel its frosh drama series Against the Wall.  Produced by Universal Cable Productions, Against the Wall is delivering 1.6 million viewers each week for its 13-episode run which is a decline from its premiere episode that attracted 1.8 million total viewers on July 31.  The series starred Rachael Carpani with co-stars Treat Williams, Kathy Baker and Andrew Walker.

Referred to as AFTRA’s Network Code, AFTRA and the television networks forged an agreement involving a new three-year contract.  The new deal includes an annual 2% wage increase and a 1% upgrade in employer contributions to health and retirement.  The health and retirement 1% increase was AFTRA’s main goal in the bargaining.  The deal covers scripted and unscripted programs in all television dayparts with the exception of scripted network primetime and scripted basic cable.

A second season of Infested! launches on Animal Planet December 30 at 9p with seven one-hour episodes and two “best of” episodes.  The series goes deep into real-life ordinary people’s homes to find horrible infestations that are plaguing their lives.  Infested! is produced by Darlow Smithson Productions for Animal Planet.

Also on December 30, Discovery Fit & Health premieres a new season of Dr. G: Medical Examiner at 10p, the first of six one-hour episodes.  Soon after the new season launch, TLC will air the one-hour special, Dr. G: Inside the Caylee Anthony Case on January 1 at 8p.  The special will offer the viewpoint and perspective of Chief Medical Examiner, Jan C. Garavaglia, M.D. (aka Dr. G) who performed the autopsy and said Caylee’s death was a homicide.  The special will air again on Discovery Fit & Health on January 6 at 10p.  Atlas Media is behind both the series and the special.
