The announcement will be part of a media event hosted by American Idol’s Ryan Seacrest at The Forum in Los Angeles where auditions for the show will be taking place. To date, Randy Jackson continues as a judge and it is likely FOX will officially confirm Jennifer Lopez as another judge. Lopez was the subject of numerous reports earlier this week that said she snagged a $12 million per year deal as judge. The other judge contender is rocker Steven Tyler of Aerosmith whose fellow band members have apparently talked publicly about his role on the show.
