Netflix and Disney announced a deal for Marvel to develop four live-action series featuring Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage in association with ABC Television Studios. The agreement calls for a minimum of four 13-ep series to air exclusively on Netflix beginning in 2015, leading up to a miniseries programming event. Disney purchased Marvel in 2009 and already has content from the brand on its own outlets, including Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC.
Because of a graphics glitch on Wednesday night, when viewers’ voting results were displayed incorrectly onscreen, the top 13 contestants on Fox‘s The X Factor had a do-over last night trying for a “save.” Results will be revealed on Wednesday, November 13 at 8p. What did show creator and judge Simon Cowell have to say? “Mistakes happen,” he tweeted.

The campaign is part of a sponsorship package around the 2013 MTV European Music Awards, which will air on MTV channels across the globe on Sunday, November 10. Last year’s EMAs drew 5.7 million tweets.
To introduce viewers to its new TV Everywhere app, CMT is pre-releasing the first episode of Sweet Home Alabama season four exclusively on the app, a week before its television premiere. Damon Wayans, Jr. will be sticking around New Girl. The actor had been in the pilot of the Fox comedy, but bowed out of the series due to a commitment to ABC‘s Happy Endings, which got an unexpected pickup. After that show was canceled, Wayans was brought back for a four-ep arc on New Girl that’s been extended for the entire third season. Wayans’ first return appearance brought an 11 percent ratings bump.
Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girl) will guest on Fox‘s Bones, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The procedural, now in its ninth season, moves from its Monday timeslot to Fridays at 8p on November 15.
Magicians Penn and Teller guest on new Syfy reality series Naked Vegas, tasking body painting experts with transforming five models into a deck of playing cards. The show, from Gurney Productions, airs Tuesday, November 12 at 10p.
