MTV has ordered 10 eps of a new makeover series, this one called Trailer Fabulous, and as you may have guessed, it’s a makeover of the pre-fab homes. The show is scheduled to debut on MTV this summer with host Brooks Buford. Sundance Channel has signed Alan Cumming to host its Friday night cult-movie block, Midnight Snack. The new season debuts on July 1 at 1230a and features eccentric, outrageous and over-the-top films for the late-night crowd. Cumming will introduce film, wrap up at the end and preview next week’s film. HBO’s Deadwood has added a new cast member – Brent Sexton will appear in the final two eps of this season, and assuming the show is picked up for a third season, will become a regular then. He will play the role of Tom Nuttall’s go-to guy. Joining NBC’s L&O: Criminal Intent in a recurring role is Paula Garces as Tech Vizcarrando. * MORE GOOD STUFF *
Joining the primetime lineup at FX on July 22 at 10p is a new drama series from Steven Bochco – Over There. This will be FX’s third new series of the summer – the first two are 30 Days starting on June 15, and Rescue Me’s second season premiere on June 21. Two new comedys are looking at an August debut – Starved and It’s Always Funny in Philadelphia. Here are a couple of start dates for Fox’s summer schedule:
