TV Land’s first original sitcom Hot in Cleveland made its debut Wednesday at 10p netting 2.0 million viewers and a 1.9 rating among A25-54 and a 1.5 rating and 1.6 million among A18-49 as well as 5.0 million total viewers. TV land aired an encore of the premiere episode at 1030p which attracted another 1.2 A25-54 viewers and 2.4 million total viewers. Hot in Cleveland is produced by Hazy Mills Productions.

ABC upped its episode order by eight for its news series Primetime: What Would You Do?, cites Variety. ABC is additionally putting the series, hosted by ABC News correspondent John Quinones on its fall line-up.

Showtime announced the fourth season of its UK-based comedy series the Secret Diary of a Call Girl will be its final season, reports THR. Season four with eight 30m episodes is expected to premiere next year. IMG, Tiger Aspect, Silverapples Media and ARG Productions produces the series which stars Billie Piper as a British escort.

Travel Channel’s popular travel show host Samantha Brown leads viewers to Asia in the new series Samantha Brown’s Asia opening July 12 at 8p. Throughout the series, Samantha ushers viewers through eight destinations including Thailand, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan and Bali as she discovers their cultures, exotic animals and flavors of this region. Optomen USA Productions produces the series for the Travel Channel.

Also on Travel Channel, the network premieres the series Ghost Stories tonight at 10p offering creepy tales of the undead from different parts of the US. Tonight’s episode at 10p visits Cape May, NJ and a second new episode at 1030p goes to Manhattan Bistro, NY. Other weekly episodes take viewers to Philadelphia, San Francisco, Tampa, New Orleans and more. MY Tupelo Entertainment produces.

Later this month, MTV returns to New Orleans for the next installment of The Real World where eight diverse strangers live together in the city’s legendary French Quarter. The Real World: New Orleans premieres June 30 at 10p. The long-running series was created for MTV by Jon Murray and Mary-Ellis Bunim of Bunim-Murray Productions.

MSG Plus skates through summer with a new semi-weekly program Hockey Night Live: Summer Ice. The series highlights the Rangers, Devils and Islanders games from the 2009-2010 season in addition to classic games from the past with the hosts offering their perspectives on the games. Hockey Night Live airs each Monday and Wednesday at 8p for twelve weeks starting June 21. Hosts Al Trautwig, Butch Goring, Ken Danekyo, Ron Duguay and Dave Maloney will open and conclude each episode.

CMT welcomes country music star Kenny Chesney and rock legend Steve Miller performing together in a new installment of the series CMT Crossroads: The Steve Miller Band and Kenny Chesney on July 9 at 9p.

PBS debuts a new series Michael Feinstein’s American Songbook on October 6 at 8p as the singer/musician journeys through the country’s history of song. The three-part series, with the second and third episodes airing on October 13 and October 20, will follow Feinstein as he performs standards and relates personal stories about songwriters and entertainers as he seeks to preserve rare treasures of classic American music. Hudson West Productions produces the series.

Debmar-Mercury and ITV Studios are working together on a new talk show titled The Chefs with Debmar-Mercury picking up the global ownership rights to the series. Later this year or in 2011, Debmar-Mercury has plans to possibly offer a multi-week run on-air to test the strip before it goes into national distribution. The US version of the series will be taped in New York featuring a roundtable discussion between four chefs about various foodie topics. Casting for The Chefs will begin soon. ITV Studios, producer of the series, will be involved with international distribution and produce all the local formats outside the US. This is the second pairing of Debmar-Mercury and ITV Studios as the two companies are also collaborating on the launch of a US version of the hit UK daytime talk Show, The Jeremy Kyle Show.

Radio talk show personality Rush Limbaugh will be featured in the third season of Golf Channel’s The Haney Project. The show will have expert golf coach Hank Haney working with Limbaugh to improve his game. The first two seasons featured Ray Romano and Charles Barkley.

Casting Call: Oxygen announced casting is quickly happening over two weeks for the network’s new wedding planner show featuring Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott. The show is seeking engaged couples living in the Southern California area with wedding dates from September through November. The preferred couples are those who want more than a traditional wedding and have a theme or a unique twist planned representing the bride and groom such as a Vegas wedding, a Bollywood theme, a BBQ cookout wedding or other ideas. The selected couples will receive wedding consultation from Tori and Dean who will create a wedding based on the couple’s own story. Interested couples should submit a brief bio including name, age and occupations, a description of their story and why they need help and what they consider to be an ideal wedding. Wednesday  A18-49 Analysis: FOX was the champ Wednesday night with a 2.6/9 among A18-49, according to final national ratings from Nielsen. FOX delivered a 2.5/9 at 8p for So You Think You Can Dance and UNIV’s Hasta que el Dinero Nos Separe placed second with 1.9/7. At 9p, NBC’s new episode edition of America’s Got Talent topped with a 3.1/9 though FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance was not too far behind at 2.8/9. Then at 10p, two reruns tied for #1 as CBS’ Criminal Minds and NBC’s Law & Order: SVU both posted a 1.6/5 and UNIV’s Don Francisco Presenta was #2 with 1.1/4.

Off The Fence (OTF) named Georgina Eyre as Head/Acquisitions. Georgina will be involved with the distribution company’s global team, working to increase OTF’s program offerings. Georgina previously was with Target Entertainment serving as Acquisitions Manager for factual and entertainment programming. At OTF, she will be based in London.

Mitchell Caplan takes on the newly-created position of CMO for McCann Erickson North America. Mitchell will oversee the agency’s growth strategy and marketing for the North American region while based in New York.

Rita Ferro advances to EVP/Disney Media Sales and Marketing for The Walt Disney Company starting June 28. Rita will transfer to New York from Miami where she has been involved with Disney’s and ESPN’s Latin America unit since 1997. In her new position, Rita will head the company’s integrated sales team that works to generate advertising sales, marketing and promotions across the company’s various media platforms. She also succeeds Tricia Wilber who was appointed CMO, The Walt Disney Company, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Rita reports to Carolina Lightcap, President, Disney Channels Worldwide; Paul Yanover, EVP/Managing Director, Disney Online; and Russell Hampton, President, Disney Publishing Worldwide.

Warner Bros. Entertainment tapped Paul McGuire as SVP/Worldwide Corporate Communications. Paul, who joins Warner Bros. from The CW where he served as EVP/Network Communications will create and implement communications strategies for Warner Bros., working closely with Susan Fleishman, EVP/Worldwide Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, Warner Bros., to whom he will report. Paul will further work in tandem with the international corporate communications group on communications goals and stories influencing the company’s global businesses. Paul will continue to be an advisor to The CW Network regarding its communications plans.
