NBC unveiled its fall lineup of new and returning series all clustered in a five-day period:
September 20: Chuck at 8p, The Event at 9p; Chase at 10p
September 21: The Biggest Loser at 8p; Parenthood at 10p
September 22: Undercovers at 8p, Law & Order: SVU at 9p; Law & Order: Los Angeles at 10p
September 23: Community at 8p; 30 Rock at 830p; The Office at 9p; Outsourced at 930p; The Apprentice at 10p
September 24: School Pride at 8p; Dateline at 9p; Outlaw at 10p
Prior to these premieres, NBC rolls out the NFL Kickoff on September 9 at 8p with the Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints. After that on September 12, Football Night in America debuts at 7p followed by Sunday Night Football at 815p with the Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins.
FX put forth its fall premiere schedule of original series starting with season three of Sons of Anarchy on September 7 at 10p; the series launch of Terriers is slated for September 8 at 10p; It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia opens its sixth season September 16 at 10p followed by the sophomore season debut of The League at 1030p.
The CW picked up the Canadian comedy 18 to Life, adding the sitcom to its summer schedule August 3 with back-to-back episodes at 9p. Developed by the CBC and ABC, 18 to Life is a single-camera comedy about young neighbors who marry on a dare. The CW has access to the complete first season with 12 half-hour episodes produced by Galafilm and Sound Venture.
Logo acquired the off-cable syndication rights to the drama series Nip/Tuck as part of a four-year licensing pact with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. This represents the launch of Nip/Tuck in syndication. Logo bought the rights to all 100 episodes of the series over seven seasons and the episodes will air sequentially. Logo will premiere Nip/Tuck this October, running a stack of three episodes on one night in primetime, with a new three-episode stack airing each week.
Outdoor Channel teamed with CSE to acquire three new fishing shows that had previously aired on ESPN2. Madfin Shark Series, Spanish Fly and Zona! will all begin on Outdoor Channel next year.
Premium entertainment network, EPIX and digital entertainment studio, Worldwide Biggies Inc. made a first-look deal arrangement involving multiple projects. The first project under the new deal is a special titled My: Moment about Olympic gold medal skier Lindsay Vonn which is in production now and scheduled to air on EPIX in January 2011.
Paula Garces and Nolan Gerard Funk are joining the Syfy series Warehouse 13 in recurring roles starting with next Tuesday’s episode at 9p. Garces plays the spunky veterinarian Kelly, the first to notice strange events happening in the town while Funk plays Todd a resident whom Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) thinks of as a kindred spirit. Phillip Winchester is also guest stars playing a multi-character role of a Marine, cowboy, gladiator and mad scientist. Warehouse 13 is produced for Syfy by Universal Cable Productions.

Wednesday A18-49 Analysis: FOX sashayed to the top of the list Wednesday night at 2.3/8 among A18-49 viewers, according to final national ratings from Nielsen. A tied occurred between CBS’ Big Brother and FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance during 8p at 2.3/8 each followed by a tie for second place between NBC’s Minute to Win It and UNIV’s Hasta que el Dinero Nos Separe at 2.0/7 apiece. NBC and America’s Got Talent ranked #1 at 9p with a 3.1/10 while UNIV remained in second place again, this time with Soy Tu Duena at 2.5/8. Then at 10p, NBC’s Law & Order: SVU repeat did best at 1.6/5 followed by CBS’ CSI: NY encore at 1.2/4.

Javier Morgado begins a new position August 1 at Latina magazine as Director/Public Relations and Brand Development. Javier will supervise the magazine’s relationships with the media and strategic development of its print and online businesses. He reports to Lauren Michaels, Publisher and Galina Espinoza, Editorial Director. Previously, Javier was the Supervising Producer for NBC News’ Today show.
Tom Valasek was hired by Time Warner Cable Media Sales as VP/Business Development. The former automotive veteran will oversee Automotive media solutions for Time Warner Cable Media Sales. Tom previously was one of three Executive Directors with Rusnak Auto Group.
BET Networks appointed Robi Reed as VP/Talent and Casting, Original Programming. Robi will manage talent and casting for scripted and non-scripted programs while based in Los Angeles and reporting to Loretha Jones, President/Original Programming.
Maurizio Vitale joins OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network as SVP/Marketing where he will spearhead all on-air and off-air marketing and promotional efforts for the network launching January 1. He will be based in Los Angeles. Previously, Maurizio was with Discovery Networks EMEA as SVP/Marketing Communications.
