Fox News Channel’s John Roberts will present a town hall with 2024 Republican presidential candidate and former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley on Sunday, February 18 in Columbia, South Carolina. The pre-taped one-hour event will air at 5p with an encore at 10p.

Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury cleared Werner Entertainment series “The Conners” in more than 85% of the U.S., securing multi-year access and early fringe deals on leading station groups starting in fall 2024, the company said. In addition, CBS Television Stations and other broadcasters like Gray, Nexstar, Lockwood, Scripps and Weigel acquired syndication rights to the program – ABC’s top-rated scripted show and sitcom of last season -– with more expected to join the lineup. Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus said, “With Tom Werner providing the highest-rated sitcom to enter off-network syndication in recent memory, ‘The Conners’ will serve as the cornerstone of many of our great station partners’ late afternoon and early evening schedules for many years to come.”

“Evil” will end with upcoming season four on Paramount+. Four bonus episodes have been ordered to bring closure to the series.

Cineverse has launched a new ad platform, Cineverse 360, which it says gives brands the ability to connect across a mix of marketing offerings. The new unit will be led by industry vet Terry City, who joins Cineverse as SVP and head of Cineverse 360. As part of the announcement, the company said it is launching the Cineverse 360 Audience Network, which beginning next quarter will allow advertisers to have access to hundreds of FAST channels with inventory on platforms like Philo, Plex, Samsung TV Plus, Vizio Watchfree, Xumo and others.

Samba TV has released its latest State of Viewership Report, analyzing more than 46 billion hours of linear and streaming TV. Among the insights in the report are how viewers are embracing FAST and AVOD to lower subscription costs and where the impact of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes is being felt in the streaming space.

The CW has rebranded its female version of “FBoy Island.” The spin-off, premiering Monday, April 1 at 9p, is named “Lovers and Liars.”

The CW has ordered scripted drama “Sherlock & Daughter,” starring David Thewlis (“Fargo”). The network also ordered for game shows based on Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble.

International stars Maribel Verdu (“Pan’s Labyrinth”) and Mariela Garriga (“Mission Impossible”) will lead the cast of Max Original drama series “When Nobody Sees Us,” the first Spanish-produced series for the service and based on the novel of the same name by Sergio Sarria. Austin Amelio (“Hit Man”), Ben Temple (“Upon Entry”) and Dani Rovira (“El campeón”) also star in the series, directed by Enrique Urbizu. Produced by Zeta Studios for Warner Bros. Discovery in Spain, the series began shooting in Madrid this week.

Husband and wife real estate developers and stars of HGTV series “100 Day Dream Home” Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt will square off in the network’s latest competition series “100 Day Hotel Challenge. Inspired by a recent Florida hotel renovation the two recently completed, the pair will assemble teams of HGTV experts to help them fully transform two adjacent, dated beachfront hotels in Salter Path, North Carolina in 100 days or less. The six-episode series is slated for summer 2024.

Supernatural drama “Wicked City” was renewed for a third season by ALLBLK. Production begins in March.


HBO Original limited series “The Sympathizer debuts Sunday, April 4 at 9p. The seven-episode espionage thriller is based on Viet Thanh Nguyen’s novel of the same name and stars Hoa Xuande, Fred Nguyen Khan, Toan Le, Phanxine, Vy Le, Ky Duyen, Kieu Chinh, Duy Nguyen, Alan Trong, Sandra Oh and Robert Downey Jr., who plays multiple roles.

Prepare for a heavy dose of “Southern Hospitality” as members from Bravo’s reality restaurant show join “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on February 22 at 8p for their first reunion.

Sundance Now and AMC+ will kick off the premiere of true crime series “The Long Shadow” with two episodes on Thursday, March 21. The seven-episode drama, which offers a new perspective on the story of the Yorkshire Ripper, is written by George Kay (“Hijack,” “Litvinenko,” “Killing Eve”) and directed by Lewis Arnold (“Des,” “Broadchurch”).

Telemundo news magazine “Al Rojo Vivo” joins sister network Oxygen to present “Al Rojo Vivo Edición Especial: Secretos de Selena y Yolanda” this Saturday, February 17 at 7p.


“Hello Again,” a special featuring Tig Notaro, premieres on Prime Video on Tuesday, March 26.

In anticipation of the show’s second anniversary, Telemundo has invited actress, singer, and TV host, Charytín Goyco, to join “La Mesa Caliente” as a guest co-host during a special week. This special edition of “La Mesa Caliente” starts Monday, February 19 at 3p and ends Friday, February 23.

Fox’s ad-supported video-on-demand service Tubi said it will exclusively launch the new UK comedy-thriller series “Dead Hot,” created and written by Charlotte Coben (“The Stranger”), and executive produced by Nicola Shindler (“It’s A Sin”) in the U.S. and Canada. The deal was brokered by ITV Studios.

Peacock is gearing up to stream the third offering in the DreamWorks Animation Trolls franchise, offering up “Trolls Band Together” and companion “Trolls Band Together: Sing Along” on March 15.

Turner Classic Movies will open its 15th annual TCM Classic Film Festival April 18 with a 35mm screening of “Pulp Fiction.” Two-time Academy Award-nominee, Golden Globe and Emmy winner John Travolta will be in attendance to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film.


Veteran sports journalist Verónica Rodríguez has joined Telemundo as host of weekend sports show Zona Mixta, where she will tackle sports topics with a rotating panel of Telemundo Deportes’ award-winning team of sports anchors and commentators. TNT Sports has reached a multiyear renewal agreement with NBA Hall of Famer Reggie Miller that will extend his tenure on the network and its platforms to more than 25 years. Miller is in his 19th season with TNT Sports as a game analyst for NBA on TNT’s regular season, NBA All-Star, and NBA Playoffs coverage, through the Conference Finals. He has called more than 650 national NBA regular season and playoff games throughout his television broadcasting career — fifth all-time among color commentators — including 13 NBA Conference Finals. He will be calling his 17th NBA All-Star Game for TNT this Sunday at 8p.

Women’s Sports Network has partnered with the newly launched Professional Women’s Hockey League, including extensive live game coverage of the league throughout the regular and post-season. WSN’S first live PWHL game premiered February 14th with a game between PWHL Boston and PWHL Toronto.

Allen Media Group’s free streaming platform, HBCU GO, has unveiled sports and cultural programming premiering in February timed to Black History Month. “The QQQ Legacy Classic” will air on February 17 at 6:30p and feature a men’s basketball double-header with Grambling State v. Jackson State and Hampton University v. Howard University. “Accelerating Brilliance,” highlighting the stories of HBCU alumni and students will air the same day at 5:30p and feature Alabama A&M and Hampton University. February 27 is the premiere of “HBCU First Look Film: Let’s Talk Series,” at 3p and 8p, with new episodes every two weeks thereafter.

Horizon Sports & Experiences (HS&E) and Fox will launch an early-season college basketball showcase – the Women’s Champions Classic, with the inaugural event featuring the University of Connecticut, the University of Tennessee, the University of Iowa, and the University of Louisville in a primetime doubleheader on FOX, Saturday, December 7 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Initial plans call for an annual event featuring UConn, the country’s most successful women’s basketball program, and a rotation of teams from the top college programs. Tickets for the 2024 Women’s Champions Classic will go on sale in March.

Ad agency Republica Havas launched a new marketing campaign with Ocean Bank – “Taking Business Further” – with several local spots in Miami during Super Bowl LVIII on February 11.

TrillerTV has won exclusive broadcast rights to Dutch football league Eredivisie in the UK & Ireland for the next two years. The company also will stream 52 matches live as part of its TrillerTV+ subscription service throughout the 2023/24 season. The broadcast deal, facilitated by IMG, will expand to include France and Australia for the 2024/25 season, streaming 136 live matches.

Super Bowl LVIII sponsors saw a 7% boost in brand visibility and media value over last year, according to a new report from Relo Metrics. Among Relo findings: Nike’s jersey partnership accounted for 60% of sponsored exposures during the game; State Farm’s Halftime Report netted the brand $16 million in media value; and Verizon’s takeover of the Las Vegas Sphere during the broadcast generated $2.5 million in media value in one exposure for the brand.

Hedgehog has three levels of access: Viewers (who can only read news headlines and community posts); Members (who must be invited and can create topics of conversation on headlines and posts and can comment in chat rooms); and Contributors (who pay a monthly fee for full access to post, unlock AI tools, manage conversations and act as leading voices on the site).

Film and TV workplace culture app Call It! has released an updated version 2.0 that records anonymous concerns regarding health and safety, in addition to experiences of bullying, harassment and discrimination. The company said it also formed a partnership with German producer btf (bildundtonfabrik) and continues its partnership with ITV Studios in the UK.

Discovery and Acme Innovation have picked 13 startup companies as the inaugural participants in its Collider On The Lot accelerator program, which matches entrepreneurs with connections to investors, executive-level education, and the opportunity to partner with the studio and Acme to explore new business models utilizing emerging technologies. The companies range from media platforms to software developers and digital marketplaces and were selected from hundreds of applicants. Moving forward, the companies will be guided by Acme Innovation and can collaborate with Warner Bros. Global Film and TV studio Fifth Season said it has landed new broadcast sales for “Superpower,” a feature documentary centered on the Ukraine-Russia conflict and co-financed with Vice Studios. The new sales include Stan and Nine Network (Australia), Movistar Plus+ (Spain), HBO (CEE and Baltics), PCCW for Now TV (Hong Kong and Macau), DPG Media (Belgium), A+E Networks/History Channel (Germany) and Kyivstar TV (Ukraine). These deals follow the company’s previous signing of deals with Paramount+ in the US, and Ukrainian broadcasters Inter, NTN, Mega and Sonce, which released the documentary in September 2023.

Canadian independent entertainment company Boat Rocker is distributing seasons 1 and 2 of kids and family series Olga Da Polga” globally (excluding the UK) for Maramedia. The series is based on the best-selling books from Paddington Bear creator Michael Bond.

Insight TV and Bolt Global have announced a partnership where the latter’s social TV platform Bolt+ will distribute two of Insight’s FAST Channels – InTrouble and InWonder – in the U.S., U.K. and Australia.

French animation production and distribution company Dandelooo has launched a new feature film division – Dandelooo Cinéma with two features currently in production: “Hola Frida!” and “Born in the Jungle.”

Keshet International said it has licensed its Israeli drama series “A Body That Works” to Netflix, AMC Networks International, CBC and SBS in 92 territories. Other titles in Keshet’s pipeline include “The Best Worst Thing, which premieres in Israel on February 18 on Keshet 12; thriller “Trust No One” recently sold to Netflix; and the second season of crime drama “Line in the Sand.”

Fuse Media has agreed to be the exclusive English-language broadcast partner of Combate Global, beginning with a live television event on Saturday, February 24 at 9:30p from Miami.
