Jennifer Gerstenblatt has been promoted from Executive Director to Vice President Current Programming at ABC Family. Gerstenblatt replaces Kelly Goode. Brooke Bowman has left her position as Senior Vice President, Original Programming at the net, but will consult.

Producer Dante Di Loreto is stepping in as president of television at Chernin Entertainment, reporting to Jenno Topping, head of film and television. Di Loreto joins Chernin Entertainment from WatchWorks Entertainment.

National cinema advertising company Screenvision promoted sales executive Katy Loria to chief revenue officer. Loria also currently serves as president/chairman of the Cinema Advertising Council and director of SAWA, the Global Cinema Advertising Assn.

Westwood One hired Tasha Blasi Pannuzzo in the newly created role of SVP, marketing & sales, NASH. Pannuzzo was most recently a sales director at TargetSpot.

Discovery Networks International tapped Ed Sayer as VP, production and development, for factual content. The veteran production exec will be based in the company’s London office.

Sesame Workshop added two members to its executive team. Tanya Haider joins in the new role of EVP, strategy, research, and ventures; she previously was head of global licensing and video content partnerships at ZeptoLab. Diana Lee is the organization’s new EVP, human resources. She most recently was at Al Jazeera America.

Comedy writer/producer David Lagana signed with WME. Lagana served as showrunner on Seasons 2 and 3 of Hulu’s Deadbeat and has developed projects for MTV, Fox and CBS. He previously was with CAA.

Canadian arts and entertainment PR firm Touchwood PR is opening an LA office led by Kevin McLean, former president of District PR, and film publicist Kara MacLean.

Viacom added three execs to its data strategy team: Bryson Gordon as Senior Vice President of Data Strategy and Viacom Vantage; Gabe Bevilacqua as Vice President of Product Management for Viacom Vantage, and Kodi Foster as Vice President of Data Strategy. Bevilacqua and Foster report to Gordon, who will manage the team under the leadership of Kern Schireson, Viacom Executive Vice President of Data Strategy and Consumer Intelligence.

Crown Media Family Networks hired Jill Underhill as Senior Vice President of On-Air Promotions. Most recently, Underhill was owner and Creative Director of Buzz Creative.

Marjorie Kaplan has been named President of Content of Discovery Networks International. Kaplan is a nearly 20-year veteran of Discovery Communications, where she launched Discovery Kids; Kaplan last served as Group President TLC, Animal Planet and Velocity.

ABC Family has bolstered its ranks. Simran S. Sethi, previously Senior Vice President of Comedy Development at NBC, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Original Programming and Development. Jennifer Gerstenblatt has been upped from Executive Director, Programming, to Vice President, Current Programming. George Chen, who last served as Director, Business Development at Disney|ABC Television Group, will serve as Vice President, Strategy and Business Development. Karissa Zigarovich, most recently Director, Marketing and Programming Insights at MTV, joins as Director, Consumer Insights.

Turner Broadcasting promoted Justin Williams to Senior Vice President of Digital for TNT and TBS. Williams last served as Vice President for both ventures.

Bob Cook, formerly President of Twentieth Television, has been named Vice President and General Manager of FOX-owned KTTV-KCOP.

Antonio Campo Dall’Orto has been appointed General Manager of Italy’s Rai TV. Dall’Orto was formerly Executive Vce President at Viacom International Media Networks.

Beth Braen, Senior Vice President of Marketing at NATPE, is leaving the entertainment organization later this month, after more than two decades. Braen plans to launch her own strategic marketing company.
