RATINGS
The top daytime shows in syndication rallied in the session ending July 15, undeterred by continuing preemptions and strong competition from the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Dr. Phil (2.8 Live+SD national Nielsen Rating, up 8% from the week before) outperformed the talk shows for the 97th week in row and was up 4% from last year despite being in repeats.
Live with Kelly and Ryan (2.0, down 5%) did not air in several markets on July 13 due to breaking news. Ellen DeGeneres (1.6, up 7%), Maury (1.3, up 7%) and Steve Harvey’s Steve (1.2, up 9%) rounded out the top five.
