Walt Disney Company reorganized some of its executive team. Ricky Strauss was named President, Content and Marketing for the upcoming Disney SVOD service, while Asad Ayaz was appointed President of Marketing. Cathleen Taff was appointed President of Theatrical Distribution, Franchise Management and Business and Audience Insight.
AMC Networks announced its new leadership team for AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios. Ben Davis, previously Senior Vice President of Programming for AMC and SundanceTV, was upped to Executive Vice President of AMC Studios. Susie Fitzgerald extended her agreement as Executive Vice President of Programming for AMC and SundanceTV. Eliot Goldberg was promoted from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President of Non-Fiction Programming for AMC and SundanceTV to Executive. Kristin Jones was upped from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice Presdent of International Programming for AMC and SundanceTV.
Meanwhile, AMC Networks International promoted Patrick Connolly to Senior Vice President of Programming for AMC/SundanceTV Global. He was previously Vice President of Programming and Scheduling for AMC/SundanceTV Global.
Laurel Fitzgerald was promoted to Senior Vice President, Consumer Research, Fox Broadcasting Company. She had been Vice President of Program and Market Research.
