ABC had its top-rated Friday in over 14 years with Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The game scored 4.6/22 among A18-49, and 13.3 million viewers.
What hackers? The premiere of ABC’s Steve Harvey’s Funderdome on Sunday delivered 6.1 million total viewers and a 1.4/5 rating, holding 93% of its lead-in, Celebrity Family Feud.
Sunday’s Hamilton-less Tonys on CBS averaged 6 million viewers in fast nationals, down 31% versus last year, and .9 among A18-49, down 44%.
The second outing of NBC’s Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly grabbed a .9/4 rating among A18-49, up a tenth from its debut, and 4.4 million viewers, a 28% dip.
Sunday’s face-off between the USA and Mexico was the most-viewed soccer match on any network this year, regardless of language, reaching 8.5 million viewers. The match averaged 4.5 million P2+ and 2.5 million A18-49 on Univision, with a simulcast on UDN.

Fox News Channel promoted 6 execs, all reporting to Suzanne Scott, President of Programming. Meade Cooper was named Senior Vice President, Programming; John Finley was upped to SVP of Development and Production; Ron Mitchell is now Vice President of Story Development, Prime Time Programming; Lauren Petterson becomes SVP, Morning Programming and Talent Development; Amy Sohnen is VP of Talent Development and Jill Van Why has been elevated VP of Programming Operations. The moves will provide “a more efficient and cohesive partnership across all aspects of programming and production,” said Scott.
A+E Networks has appointed John Flanagan as General Manager for The History Channel Japan Corp. Previously, Flanagan served as President and Representative Director for Blackhawk Network Japan & Korea.
Nippon Television Network Corporation appointed Board Director and Operating Officer Yoshio Nakayama to oversee the IBD division for Nippon TV. Nakayama joined the News Division of Nippon TV in 1983.
Joanne Rubino has been promoted to President of Production at Thinkfactory Media. Rubino had been Executive Vice President.
