David Westin, president of ABC News from 1997-2010, has been tapped by Bloomberg Television to serve as “an on-air personality.” What makes the former network honcho a good in-front-of-the-camera fit? Claudia Milne, global head of Bloomberg Television explained, “He’s an exceptional business leader, a smart lawyer, an expert on media and journalism and a calm, intelligent presence on air.” Said Westin, “I’m looking forward to being the one asking the questions and reporting the news.”
