RATINGS
The live premiere of The 2019 BET Awards on Sunday, June 23 was the top cable awards show for the fifth consecutive year (2015-2019) among A18-49, while garnering 12.7 million Total Viewers tuning across eight Viacom networks.
Live PD hit new series high ratings on Friday, pushing A&E to #1 across all broadcast and cable networks in prime in the key A25-54 and A18-49 demos. The June 21 episode drew 2.4 million Total Viewers, 1.2 million A25-54 and 966,000 A18-49.
The Live+3 ratings for the premiere of Spin the Wheel mark FOX’s most streamed summer debut ever (excluding sports), delivering 4.5 million Total Multi-Platform Viewers, up +1.1 million viewers from Live+SD.
Family Feud (6.1 Live+SD national Neilsen rating, unchanged) dethroned Jeopardy! (5.8, down 15% from the week before), which was unable to finish first among syndicated game shows for the first time in 11 weeks. Wheel of Fortune (new season low 5.2, down 9%) rolled to third place in the category.
Judge Judy (5.4) continued to lead courtroom shows, and Dr. Phil (2.3, down 4 %) was the talk show champ, despite being in repeats all five days. Live with Kelly and Ryan (2.0, down 5%) was second for the 16th straight week over Ellen DeGeneres (1.8, down 5%). The trial run for RuPaul (0.5/1 weighted metered market average) dropped 17% from its lead-in).
