EXECUTIVE MOVES

Lindsey Springer was named President of Carlton Cuse Productions. Springer had been head of development at Steven Spielberg’s Amblin TV.

Crown Media Family Networks tapped Angela Megrey to serve as Vice President, Social Media. Most recently, Megrey was VP of Social Media and Digital Marketing at Blaze PR.

Matthew Lieberman has been promoted to the role of Entertainment, Media, Communications, and Technology Marketing Leader at PwC. Previously, Lieberman was marketing leader of the company’s Entertainment, Media, and Communications divisions.

Mobext, Havas Media‘s mobile arm, has appointed Warren Zenna as EVP, Managing Director, Mobext US. Most recently, Zenna ran his own digital consulting firm.

Kelli Rafferty has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Communications, CBS Corporation, effective June 1, in the wake of Shannon Jacobs decision to exit the position. Jacobs will continue in her current role through the launch of the fall season, and remain as a senior consultant to the department.

Sony Pictures Television upped Rene Santaella to Senior Vice President, Global Ad Strategy & Operations. Santaella will lead the global ad sales strategy and operations for Crackle, as well as PlayStation in the U.S.

Holly Hines has joined Dynamic Television as Senior Vice President, Content. Previously, Hines served as Senior Vice President of Scripted Programming for Pivot TV.

Newsmax TV appointed Eric Pearce as Senior Vice President, Broadcast Operations and Strategy. Pearce had been Senior Vice President of Television at TheBlaze.

Breakthrough Entertainment named Martha Sepulveda as Director of Development and Production, Kids and Family Entertainment. Sepulveda joins Breakthrough from Sinking Ship Entertainment, where she was a Development Manager and Producer.

Wendi Trilling is leaving as head of comedy development for CBS Entertainment when her contract is up in June. “After more than 24 years at CBS, it’s time to take a breath and look toward a new challenge,” said Trilling.  

ITV Studios America promoted Paul Reaney to Senior Vice President of Development. Reaney joined ITV as Vice President of Development in 2011.

Starz promoted Antonio Pacheco to Vice President, Program Planning and Scheduling for Starz and Jim Schubert to Vice President, Program Planning and Scheduling for Encore. Pacheco joined Starz in 2001; Schubert came aboard in 2006.

Susan Malfa has been tapped to serve as Executive Vice President of National Advertising Sales and Marketing for Spanish-language net Estrella TV. Most recently, Malfa was a Senior Vice President at NBCUniveral Lifestyle Group.

Paramount Television tapped Jessica Rovins to serve as Executive Vice President, Communications. Most recently, Rovins was Senior Vice President of Publicity at Paramount Pictures.

BBC Worldwide announced Herb Scannell has decided to step down as President, BBC Worldwide North America. Ann Sarnoff, currently COO, BBC Worldwide North America has been promoted to the position.Scannell will turn over day-to-day operations to Sarnoff on August 1, 2015, but will remain with the company through the summer.

BET Networks named Maureen Guthman as Senior Vice President of Programming and Acquisitions. Prior to joining the company, Guthman served as SVP of Program Strategy and Acquisitions at TV One.

Mitch Petrie is new Vice President of Programming at Sportsman Channel. Before he landed at Sportsman, Petrie established Muddy Boot Productions.

Xelo Montesino was appointed General Manager of Cuarzo Producciones in Spain. He had been the company’s Content Director.
