NBCUniversal’s all-out presentation of Premier League’s “Championship Sunday” has its channel assignments as all 10 matches run live simultaneously across 10 different NBCUniversal television networks on Sunday at 10a. NBC and Telemundo will feature Arsenal/Everton as the centerpiece match, which NBCSN carries Liverpool/Middlesbrough. USA and Universo serve up Watford/Manchester City with Manchester United/Crystal Palace on CNBC and Burnley/West Ham on Oxygen. Rounding out the lineup will be Chelsea/Sunderland on Syfy, Hull City/Tottenham on MSNBC, Leicester City/Bournemouth on Bravo, Southhampton/Stoke City on E! and Swansea City/West Bromwich Albion on Esquire.
 
 
ON THE AIR

NHL Network secured exclusive rights to televise the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships in the US from 2018-2020. NHL Network will offer complete coverage of the entire tournament, including game telecasts and comprehensive previews, highlights and analysis within its studio programming. The deal was with Infront Sports & Media and comes as NHL Network is in the midst of its coverage of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, with live quarterfinal matchups slated today at 10a.
 
The NBA announced that the NBA Draft 2017 presented by State Farm will be held in Brooklyn on June 22 at 7p with Barclays Center serving as host the draft for the fifth consecutive year. By virtue of winning NBA Draft Lottery 2017 presented by State Farm, the Boston Celtics earned the right to select first overall at NBA Draft 2017 presented by State Farm.
 
Telemundo Deportes revealed its team of presenters and commentators for its upcoming coverage of the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017 spanning June 17-July 2. The on-air team will include Andres Cantor leading coverage, joined by Carlos Hermosillo and Manuel Sol, who will serve as game and studio analysts. Sammy Sadovnik will deliver play-by -play with analyst Copan Alvarez, among other names. Miguel Gurwitz will serve as host, leading the pre and post-game analysis from Russia.
 
FOX Sports locked in upcoming morning show First Things First with Cris Carter and Nick Wright to make its debut on Sept. 5 at 6a on FS1. “Morning television is different,” said Carter, “People are looking for a fresh start, a new alternative. For me as a professional football player and professional broadcaster, I try to get off to a great start to start my day. We want to be part of people’s habits for what they’re doing that day.”
 
Speaking of FOX, Alex Rodriguez makes his broadcasting booth debut Thursday night as color analyst for the Yankees/Royals game at 8p on FS1. He joins play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt and reporter Ken Rosenthal. Rodriguez then returns to the booth two days later Angels/Mets at 7p on FOX.
 
For the second consecutive year, NBC Sports carries an Aviva Premiership Rugby match on US soil, offering the Newcastle Falcons hosting Saracens fromTalen Energy Stadium in Philadelphia on Set. 16 on NBCSN. The event will be staged by Premiership Rugby in conjunction with AEG. “We’re excited to televise Premiership Rugby here on U.S. soil for a second consecutive year,” said Jon Miller, President, Programming, NBC Sports and NBCSN. “Following our first full season as the U.S. media home of Premiership Rugby, September’s match in Philadelphia featuring Newcastle and Saracens is a testament to the continued growth and interest in rugby here in the States.”
 
ESPN is recruiting Paul Pierce to the NBA Countdown team for pre-game and halftime shows throughout the NBA Finals on ABC. Pierce will join Chauncey Billups, analyst Jalen Rose and host Michelle Beadle to form this year’s quartet. NBA Countdown and The Jump will take their shows on the road for live, on-site telecasts during the NBA Finals.
 
Outdoor Channel locked in upcoming special, Outside Tracks to premiere May 22 at 9p. The program takes viewers behind-the-scenes in the studio and in the woods with country artists on the rise whose “faith, family, passion for music and the outdoors has fueled their success.”

Scotiabank and the National Hockey League locked in a new multi-year agreement to extend a decade-long partnership that began in 2007. Under the new deal, Scotiabank remains the Official Bank of the league in Canada. Scotiabank will also continue to be prominently featured at other NHL tentpole events including the NHL Heritage Classic, the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Stanley Cup Final and the NHL Awards, and will continue as a sponsor of the NHL’s year-long Centennial celebration in 2017. As part of the partnership renewal, Scotiabank will also have significant advertising presence throughout all NHL-controlled media properties including NHL.com and NHL Social.
 
 
DIGITAL & STREAMING

The PGA TOUR lined up PGA TOUR Emojis, an iMessage sticker and emoji keyboard pack that features over 20 animated stickers and GIFs. The offerings were developed by mobile messaging company Snaps and allow fans to drag and drop stickers directly into an iMessage conversation. “The PGA TOUR is always looking for new and creative ways to engage its fans,” said Scott Gutterman, PGA TOUR Vice President of Digital Operations. “The PGA TOUR Emojis keyboard is a fun way for PGA TOUR fans to interact on the golf course or while watching coverage of our events.”
 
Derek Jeter helped break a Topps NOW record, with the company selling more than 15,000 base cards within a 24-hour period and breaking the previous regular-season mark set last year. Topps created two physical cards commemorating the event for $9.99 each, which were exclusively sold on Topps.com.
 
Speaking of Topps, the company is now partnering with Sports Crate, the officially licensed subscription crate of the MLB, in a move that will see Topps provide fans with exclusive baseball cards in each month’s crate. This collaboration also includes a special limited foil board set that will be randomly inserted in ten percent of Sports Crate team-focused subscriptions. Sports Crate launches  with 10 teams initially, providing fans of the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers with exclusive apparel, collectibles, experiences and more every month.
