EXECUTIVE MOVES

Digital media company LiveXLive appointed Michael Zemetra as Chief Financial Officer. Zemetra most recently served as the divisional chief financial officer for the business cloud division of j2 Global. “I’m excited to take on this new role at LiveXLive during an incredible time of growth in digital media,” Zemetra tells Cynopsis, “and look forward to helping our company scale as we continue to achieve significant benchmarks.” Said CEO Robert Ellin, “We are confident that Michael will be an important leader to help guide LiveXLive as we continue to grow our business verticals across music, entertainment and digital medias.”

Vishnu Athreya was upped to Senior Vice President, Programming at Cartoon Network. Athreya adds series development for Boomerang to his purview.

Management and production company The Cartel appointed former President of Brownstone Entertainment and Fascination Street Drew Brown as Head of Television. Brown will be based in the company’s LA office.

FremantleMedia North America hired Kevin Blanchette as Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communications. Blanchette most recently served as head of Hulu Originals Marketing.

TV tracking app TV Time appointed Anne Dailey as Vice President of Sales. Previously, Dailey served as Director of Business Development for Ad Agencies and Media Companies at Nielsen. Alex von Krogh also joined TV Time, as Vice President of Sales. Von Krogh was most recently Director of Business Development for the Non-Traditional Group at Nielsen.

Stacey Adams was appointed Vice President, Current Programming for ABC Entertainment. She joins from CBS, where she also served as VP, Current Programming.

New cross-platform innovation and integrations group, CBS EYE MAX named Linda Rene as Executive Vice President, Primetime Sales and Innovation. Also joining the team are Antoinette Clarke, Vice President, Branded Entertainment and Media Innovation, CBS Daytime; Cristin DeVries, Branded Entertainment and Media Innovation, CBS Primetime; and Despina Legakis, Director, Branded Entertainment and Media Innovation, CBS Late Night.

Cleveland Browns owner Dee Haslam is stepping down as CEO of RIVR Media. Co-founder Rob Lundgren will take over as CEO, Lori Golden-Stryer will transition to President, and Haslam will remain a partner and executive producer.

Rebecca Sykes was promoted from Managing Director of Europe to Global CEO of MOFILM.

Y&R named Yusuf Chuku as Chief Strategy Officer or North America. He was previously Executive Vice President, Head of Planning at McCann New York.
