Kevin Levy was upped to Executive Vice President Program Planning, Scheduling and Acquisition at the CW. Levy joined the net at launch in 2006.
Deepak Dhar has partnered with Banijay Group for a 50:50 joint venture in a bid to expand the Group’s presence in India and South East Asia. Deepak will seve as as founder & CEO, Banijay Asia.
United Entertainment Group has expanded its leadership team in the US and UK with 3 new hires: Thomas Caravella, now Senior Vice President of Licensing; Michael Brown, Executive Vice President of Sports; and Tim Collins, Managing Director of UEG’s UK office.
Janice Min will consult for NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, while remaining at Valence Media. Min will “create new initiatives that enhance and move forward our commitment and connection to women,” said E! Entertainment President Adam Stotsky in a memo to staff, adding that as the former editor of The Hollywood Reporter, Min is “a perfect resource and sounding board for E! News.”
Irwin Gottlieb is leaving his position as global chairman of GroupM, but will remain as a senior advisor with parent company WPP. Gottlieb joined WPP in 1999 and was named global chairman in 2012. “Irwin has always been the driving force behind the creation and development of first Mindshare, then GroupM, and more recently, WPP’s focus on developing our technology assets, first-party data and content,” said Martin Sorrell, CEO, WPP. “We will not miss him, however, as he will continue to be available to the Group as a trusted strategic advisor.”

Lauren Fry rejoined Simulmedia in the new position of VP, customer success and business analytics. She had previously had been with Simulmedia from 2013-16, and served as director of tune-in sales at AT&T AdWorks since May 2017.
Gravitas Ventures hired Alyson Stewart in the new post of SVP of sales and strategy. Stewart previously was at Mediamorph,
TVision Insights, which measures eyes-on-screen to every second of programming and advertising on television, announced Dave Marquard joined the company as chief product officer. Most recently, Marquard was an exec at Integral Ad Science.
