MGM Television is bolstering its scripted programming coffers with three new hires.
Bradley Gardner, formerly at Paramount Network and TV Land, has been named SVP of Orion Television, focusing on comedy and drama. Former Automatik SVP of television Christopher Goble joins as VP, Orion Television and will focus on the horror/sci-fi genres. And Jina Jones will serve as head of studio development for MGM’s partnership with Brat TV, developing scripted content for YA audiences. Jones previously was VP of scripted at Awesomeness.

Emmy-wining producer Chachi Senior joined Truly Original as head of development. Senior most recently was head of alternative development and original programming at Paramount Network.

Ashley McFarlin Buie joined WE tv as VP of development. The founder of Bird’s Eye Entertainment has produced series including Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Potomac and The First Family of Hip Hop.

Intuitive Content appointed producer Patrick McMahill as VP of production and development. Previously, McMahill was director of the second season of HGTV series Home Town.

Out at Endemol Shine Group shingle House of Tomorrow are Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker and collaborator Annabel Jones. The two have been in negotiations with Netflix about an exclusive deal for several months.

Starz President of Programming Carmi Zlotnik is leaving to “pursue new creative endeavors.” “He has been a valued member of the Starz team for nearly a decade, helping to build the Starz original programming team and strategy from the ground up while also serving as a great creative partner, mentor and friend to so many,” said Jeffrey Hirsch, Starz President and CEO. “We remain grateful to Carmi for his contributions and commitment to Starz throughout his time here.” Zlotnik will consult with Starz during the transition.

Studio 100 Media appointed Vanessa Windhager as Sales Executive Global Distribution. Windhager was most recently Sales Manager Liaison for NBC Universal International Television Distribution.

Cream Productions upped development executive James Farr to Vice President of Development. Farr will continue to report to David Brady, CEO, and President Kate Harrison Karman.

IMGN Media hired Noah Mallin to fill the newly created role of Chief Brand Strategist. Mallin joins from Wavemaker, where he was Managing Partner.

Brain Power announced the promotions of Stan Hum to EVP, Business Development and Distribution and Nancy Yeaman to EVP Kids and Original Content.

Melissa Repko is joining CNBC.com as a retail reporter focusing on big-box retailers. She comes from The Dallas Morning News.

Ben Smith is exiting as Editor in Chief of BuzzFeed. He’ll be joining the New York Times as a media columnist.

Brandon Zimon was named EVP for the US Television Division at Constantin Film.

ITV Studios hired Lisa Perrin as Managing Director of its international production business. She joins from Endemol Shine, where she was CEO Creative Networks.

Endemol Shine North America appointed Michael Heyerman SVP, Unscripted Original Series. He previously had and executive producer deal with Endemol. Veteran unscripted producer Shyam Balse was named VP, Unscripted Original Series.

Bridget Davidson joined Loaded as VP of Talent. She last served as Senior Esports Manager at Riot.
