Bloggers, Diggers and tweeters are passing around a posting by Parks and Recreation co-star Aziz Ansari calling for a boycott of the companies, claiming that the exhibitors are selling an inferior bill of goods. The two companies teamed last year to begin offering cheaper co-branded screens in multiple AMC locations.

If you’re the type of web surfer who likes to leave your two cents on postings, this is for you. The folks who launched RocketOn are introducing a brand new social tool today in Alpha they call Blerp. (Excuse me.) Using the same overlay technology that powers the virtual RocketOn world, Blerp allows users to post comments on any widgetized site on the web. When you’re logged in you can create your own “blerps” or thought bubbles to add funny comments to photos or articles. The site itself takes the form of a real-time, Twitter-like forum, connecting users to discussions and sites that interest them. The whole process is much more visual (an more fun) than simply adding comments to the bottom of an article. It will be interesting to see how folks use it.
Correction: Anyone who thought that Microsoft’s first bond offering of $3.75 million was a little paltry – well, you were right. Add a zero – we meant $3.75 billion. The former wouldn’t keep Redmond in Starbucks for the year.
