CYNOPSIS DIGITAL – TODAY’S TOP STORYHere we go again with calls of voter fraud. Yahoo admitted there were errors in the tabulation of votes for its standing board members by third party voting intermediary Broadridge Financial Solutions, inflating support for five of Yahoo’s nine directors by significant margins. Revised tallies revealed 33.7% of votes withheld for CEO Jerry Yang (up from the 15% originally reported) and 39.6% of votes withheld for Chairman Roy Bostock. The results of the ballots, however, remain unchanged. Minority shareholder Capital Research Global Investors, led by vocal Yahoo critic Gordon Crawford, called for the recount.  Full edition: CYN DIGITAL.
