Good morning. It’s Thursday, July 8, 2010, and this is a quick special edition of Cynopsis.

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the 62nd annual Primetime Emmy Award nominees this morning. 

A full list of nominees is available here, a downloadable PDF provided by ATAS, and available.

And beginning July 21st, we will be sending out our first of five special Primetime Emmy editions, each focused on the following categories:

Comedy Series – July 21
Drama Series – July 28
Reality and Reality Host – August 4
Best Actor and Actress in a Drama and Comedy – August 9
Specials and Non-Fiction – August 12

The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards will be presented by NBC on August 29, airing live coast-to-coast for the first time in more than three decades.  the Red Carpet pre-show will be seen on NBC, E! and TV Guide Network.  The Creative Arts Awards will be presented on August 21st, and televised on E! on Friday, August 27.
