Broadway star of “Wicked” Idina Menzel is in talks to join FOX’s Glee as the coach of Vocal Adrenaline, the McKinley High glee club’s nemesis. Menzel would appear in the remaining nine episodes of the season.

FOX picked a comedy project from writer/editor Alan Yang (Parks and Recreation) titled Jackpot, cites THR. The plot centers around high school friends who win the lottery. Michael Aguilar is producing the project. FOX also gave a nod to Matt Goldman (Seinfeld, Ellen) who wrote a spec script for an untitled multi-camera workplace comedy produced by Sony TV and studio-based Tannenbaum Co. This plot centers on a man who wants to make a comeback in his personal and professional life while working at a chaotic company for a woman he rejected five years previously.
