Good morning. It’s Monday, December 4, 2006, and this is your first early morning briefing.
Another NBC Universal executive is exiting: Keith Turner, President/Advertising Sales and Marketing will leave “to purse career opportunities outside the company.” Turner has headed the sales organization for eight years and has been with NBC in total for nearly 20 years. Expected to step into the vacancy left by Turner is Mike Pilot, a General Electric veteran and current President/GE Capital Solutions, US Equipment Financing. Also expected is a reorganization of top level duties that will deal with the responsibilities once handled by former Group Pres/CEO Randy Falco and New Media Chief David Zaslav.
