| James Bond is coming to Netflix. Beginning January 15, Netflix subscribers will be able to stream the Bond film library, which is owned by rival Amazon. Explaining the move, Chris Ottinger, Head of Worldwide Distribution at Amazon MGM Studios, said that since acquiring MGM, Amazon has aimed to continue licensing its iconic catalog to streaming and television partners worldwide, and the agreement “reflects the continued global appetite for premium storytelling and the strong working relationship we’ve built with Netflix.”
Apple TV has canceled “The Last Frontier” after one season. Jason Clarke starred in the drama about the suspicious crash of a prison transport plane in Alaska. The series’ final episode dropped December 5.

Bowen Yang has taped his last “Saturday Night Live” show. Yang joined “SNL” as a writer in 2018 and became a cast member the following season. “I loved working at SNL and most of all I loved the people,” he said in a statement. “I was there at a time when many things in the world started to seem futile, but working at 30 Rock taught me the value in showing up anyway when people make it worthwhile.” Yang got a proper sendoff – in his final sketch on Saturday’s show, his character said, “I just feel so lucky that I ever got to work here and I just wanted to enjoy it a little bit longer. It’s definitely the people, I’ve loved every single person that works here because they’ve done so much for me, especially my boss.”
Moving on, “Stranger Things” star Finn Wolfhard will host the next new installment of “SNL,” with musical guest A$AP Rocky. The show returns January 17.
