Fox Corp. networks, including Fox News and local stations, will remain on YouTube TV for now, following a short-term contract extension as renewal talks continue. YouTube confirmed the temporary deal, saying it aims to avoid disruption for subscribers while negotiating a fair agreement.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution will end its print edition at the end of this year, accelerating its shift to digital. Over the past three years, the AJC has invested in reporting and technology to reach a goal of 500,000 paid digital subscribers. “We will begin the new year as a fully digital organization, committed, as always, to being the most essential and engaging news source for the people of Atlanta, Georgia and the South,” shared President and Publisher Andrew Morse in a letter to subscribers.
Jimmy Fallon will host four special Sunday night editions of “The Tonight Show” following “Sunday Night Football” on NBC this fall. Airing after local news, the episodes are scheduled for September 21, October 26, November 16 and December 7, following key NFL matchups. |

I am still pinching myself!” Quinn is also showrunner for “Press Your Luck.”
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is joining NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” and its syndicated counterpart “GMFB: Overtime” as a guest host this season. Rollins will appear alongside Jamie Erdahl, Kyle Brandt, Manti Te’o, and Sherree Burruss.
Hilary Duff is set to star in and executive produce “Pretty Ugly,” a new comedy in development at Hulu. The single-camera series is based on Kirker Butler’s 2015 novel of the same name and follows Miranda Miller, a former teen pageant queen determined to make her daughter Bailey a child pageant star.
HBO is developing a series based on the upcoming book The Fort Bragg Cartel: Drug Trafficking and Murder in the Special Forces by journalist and military veteran Seth Harp. The book, which debuts on The New York Times bestseller list on August 31, investigates drug trafficking, unsolved murders and corruption within U.S. Special Forces at Fort Bragg. |

Season 3 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” will premiere on Hulu on Thursday, November 13. All 10 episodes will air on Hulu domestically and on Disney+ in select international markets.
Season 2 of “NCIS: Origins” will feature a tribute episode to David McCallum, who portrayed Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard for 20 seasons before his death in 2023. Titled “The Edge,” the episode stars Adam Campbell as a young Ducky, “to honor the memory of our dear friend David McCallum,” said showrunners Gina Lucita Monreal and David J. North in a statement. “He was a beloved member of the ‘NCIS’ family for many years and we’re incredibly lucky to have the talented Adam Campbell back to bring the younger version of this iconic character to life again.” Season 2 premieres October 14.
“House of David” Season 2 will premiere October 5 with its first two episodes available exclusively on Wonder Project, a new Prime Video subscription channel launching the same day. The series will become available to all Prime Video subscribers at a later date.
“The Real Housewives of Potomac” will return to Bravo for Season 10 on Sunday October 5 at 8p ET. In addition to two new housewives, former cast member Monique Samuels returns as a “friend of” the show.
MGM+ will premiere its new reimagined drama “Robin Hood” on Sunday, November 2, with a two-episode launch at 9p ET/PT. The 10-episode series will air weekly, concluding with the season finale on December 28. Produced by Lionsgate TV, the series also stream on MGM+ in the UK, Italy, Germany, Spain, Latin America, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Mike Jerrick will host “Mike,” a late-night talk show debuting September 8 on Fox-owned WTXF Philadelphia (Fox 29). The locally produced, half-hour program will air weeknights at 11:30 p.m. on Fox 29 and stream on Fox Local. Jerrick has co-hosted “Good Day Philadelphia” since 2009. |

Amazon Ads has wrapped its 2025-26 upfront TV-video ad sales with what it called “significant growth.” Analysts estimate upfront revenue rose 30% to $1.8 billion, driven by Prime Video and Freevee. Pricing for non-NFL Prime Video content remains around $20–$30 CPM. Live sports, including the upcoming “NBA on Prime” deal, are expected to boost future growth. Amazon’s total ad revenue reached $56.2 billion in 2024, up from $46.9 billion in 2023.
Google has introduced personalized member-only pricing, shopping and shipping benefits for retailers in Performance Max and Shopping campaigns. AR Content has optioned the television rights to The Specialist book series by John Shirley (writing as John Cutter). The 11-book action-thriller series, which inspired the 1994 film starring Sylvester Stallone and Sharon Stone, will be adapted into a modern-day series. |

FuboTV will launch Fubo Sports — a lower-priced, sports-focused streaming plan — on September 2. The Saudi Pro League has extended its partnership with IMG for another four years to distribute international media rights for the Roshn Saudi League. Since 2023, IMG has expanded RSL coverage to over 184 countries via 43+ platforms, securing deals with ESPN, DAZN, FOX Sports and Globo. The partnership also includes a five-year production deal to enhance broadcasts of the RSL, King’s Cup and Saudi Super Cup.

BIG MEDIA has signed a licensing deal with AMC Networks International Central & Northern Europe to bring three of its original series to Eastern Europe: “UNTHINKABLE: Moments that Shocked the World,” “SPYCRAFT,” and “HISTORY 360.” Said Anna Scheitzach, Senior Director of Sales, “Thanks to AMC Networks International [Central & Northern Europe], we are entering a new market with these shows. We have every confidence that they will be met with the same enthusiasm from viewers that they have in other territories.”
Comcast NBCUniversal and Amazon have finalized new distribution agreements covering Prime Video, Peacock, Fire TV and Xfinity X1. As part of the deal, Peacock’s ad-free Premium Plus tier will be available on Prime Video for $16.99/month or $169.99/year. Peacock will also remain accessible on Amazon Fire TV.
The BBC has acquired the first three seasons of “Trying,” Apple TV+’s longest-running sitcom and its first non-U.S. commission. Starring Rafe Spall and Esther Smith, Season 1 will debut on BBC iPlayer and linear TV on September 8.
Bell Media has signed a next-day streaming deal with Sony Pictures Television to bring “Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune” to Crave starting next month. Episodes will stream on Crave the day after airing in syndication, with 100 library episodes of each show also becoming available beginning September 9. This marks the first time the iconic game shows will be available on the Canadian streaming platform. |

Across English and Spanish-language channels, Spectrum averaged 1.8 million daily viewing households across linear and digital platforms. In Orlando, Spectrum News 13 saw a 52% spike during its live SpaceX Falcon 9 launch coverage, drawing significantly more viewers than national networks.
