Allegations of sexual misconduct have led to the suspensions of five analysts at NFL Network and ESPN. Responding to a complaint by a former employee, wardrobe stylist Jami Cantor, NFL Network suspended Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk, Heath Evans and Ike Taylor as it investigates Cantor’s claim. ESPN said Eric Davis and Donovan McNabb “will not appear” on its networks as an investigation proceeds. Also placed on leave was the president of Bill Simmons Media Group, a former NFL Networker. In addition to sexual harassment, Cantor alleges age and sex discrimination, a hostile work environment and wrongful termination.

Univision Deportes’ Live Broadcast of the Liga MX Apertura 2017 Final Delivered a Combined Total of 4.9 Million Total Viewers 2+. 1st leg matchup of the historic Clásico Regio: Monterrey vs. Tigres UANL delivered 2.3 million Total Viewers 2+ and 1.3 million Adults 18-49 during the Univision–UDN 9 p.m. simulcast on Thursday Dec 7. The 2nd leg matchup delivered 2.4 million Total Viewers 2+ and 1.3 million Adults 18-49 during the 6:30 p.m. Univision–UDN simulcast on Sunday Dec 10. Epic Monterrey vs. Tigres UANL clash ranks as most-viewed fútbol match of the now-completed Liga MX apertura 2017 season.
 
Toronto FC’s first MLS championship delivered an average audience of 1.3 million Canadians on TSN, peaking at 2 million viewers on Saturday. According to overnight numbers from Numeris, it was the most-watched program of the day in the Toronto market, with 3.4 million Canadians tuning in for some or all of the game.
 
NASCAR released 2018 race start times and network coverage for the NASCAR Xfinity Series, which returns February 17 at Daytona. Among the changes are night racing at Richmond Raceway in April, later start times in the spring at Texas Motor Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway, and earlier start times at Iowa Speedway in June and Las Vegas Motor Speedway in September. The fall race at Texas was moved to 3:30 p.m. ET. Info on more  enhancements to weekend schedules will arrive over the coming weeks.
 
Discovery en Espanol and the National Football League will air AVENTURA NFL, a half-hour special that takes a 360-degree look at the culture and passion found in the NFL gameday experience. Produced by NFL Films, it will premiere exclusively on Discovery en Espanol Tuesday, December 19 at 10:00 PM ET. AVENTURA NFL was specifically created by Discovery en Español and the NFL to introduce the game experience to a Spanish-speaking audience. Shot in Miami in the days surrounding the Dolphins’ Week 9 Sunday Night Football game against the Oakland Raiders, Aranguren shows viewers the Hispanic ties found throughout the NFL.
 
On Sunday, Dec. 17, Pac-12 Networks will introduce Our Stories. The Networks’ newest original series premieres with an hour-long program looking back at several feature stories from the Conference of Champions highlighted by Pac-12 Networks over the past year. Hosted by Kate Scott, Our Stories will include Ashley Adamson, Yogi Roth and Mike Yam; the group shares their thoughts and reflections on the student-athletes, coaches and personalities who drove the storylines.

The Boston Globe reported that Samuel Adams is “set to replace longtime sponsor Budweiser as the official beer of the Red Sox, after its brewer, Boston Beer Co., signed an eight-year deal with the team” through the ’25 season. Sam Adams will build a significant presence in and around Fenway Park, including some robust signage and fan experiences.
 
Richard Childress Racing announced that Caterpillar has renewed its primary sponsorship of the team’s No. 31 Chevy in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. The company has been a primary sponsor of the team since ’09 and on the hood of Ryan Newman’s No. 31 for up to two-thirds of the season in recent years.
 
In a move that will change the face of the hospitality industry, On Location Experiences, the NFL’s official premium hospitality firm, acquired PrimeSport, one of the largest hospitality and ticket exchange rights holders from the Final Four to College Football Playoff games and several professional sports. The deal with PrimeSport will amplify OLE’s reach across sports and entertainment. On Location now has the rights to 150 teams, leagues and events, including the Ryder Cup, Daytona 500 and multiple music festivals. For now, PrimeSport will continue operating under its current name as a division within OLE, but PrimeSport CEO Tim Brosnan will depart the company.
 
“PrimeSport was the biggest shark in the water,” On Location CEO John Collins told ESPN. “They have the inventory to the best events. As rights holders, we know what it takes to create a better experience. Together, we are a formidable pairing.”

FloSports and SLAM Media Inc. are teaming for a content partnership to recognize and promote some the most elite high school basketball players across the nation. SHOWTIME Sports will deliver live coverage of women’s boxing sensation Katie Taylor’s first defense of her WBA World Lightweight Title against Jessica McCaskill Wednesday on social platforms. The full eight-fight card from York Hall in London will be available for free exclusive to the U.S audience on the SHOWTIME Sports YouTube channel and the SHOWTIME Boxing Facebook page beginning at 1 p.m. ET. Coverage from London will be provided by Sky Sports and also feature Conor Benn, Lawrence Okolie, Josh Kelly and Joe Cordina in separate bouts.

Experiential marketing agency Engine Shop, a Bruin Sports Capital company, announced the acquisition of The Gamer Agency (TGA), an esports strategy, event production and development company. TGA currently operates the Mixer NYC Studio digital production facility at New York’s Microsoft Store. This year, the studio will produce and broadcast approximately 100 esports and other gaming events across a range of titles.
