Trevor Noah will take his third turn as host of the Grammys. “I don’t think it’s normal to host it once, so I don’t have a great frame of reference for this,” said Noah. The show, airing February 5 on CBS, has five new categories this year, including Songwriter of the Year and Best Score Soundtrack For Video Games and Other Interactive Media.

Ana Cabrera confirmed her exit from CNN. After nearly a decade at the network, the CNN Newsroom anchor has reportedly been eyeing an opening at NBCUniversal. The “Survivor” season 43 winner pledged to donate the total sum of his million-dollar prize to veterans. Fifty-two-year-old Mike Gabler is the second-oldest player to win the title of sole survivor and has made history as the first to donate his entire paycheck to charity. The Year of Murphy: Ryan Murphy and Eddie Murphy will be honored at the 80th Golden Globes. For his Netflix series “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” which is also nominated for Best Limited Series, Anthology Series or TV Movie, Ryan Murphy will walk away with the kudocast’s fourth Carol Burnett Award. No recipient was named last year when the Globes were boycotted for protests related to discrimination. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced Wednesday that Eddie Murphy will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award for outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment. The ceremony is slated for January 10 at 8p.

Henry Cavill confirmed that he will not return to “The Witcher.” Liam Hemsworth was cast as Geralt of Rivia, which Cavill played for the first three seasons, when it was expected Cavill would reprise his role as Superman in a new DC superhero movie. Turns out Cavill will not be playing the Man of Steel again after all, amid plans to revamp the franchise, but that won’t affect the recast of his TV role.
