The freeD replay technology has never been used before by any network at a tennis Major and freezes the action then “turns” to show any different angle. “We aim to present a US Open like never before, with camera and replay angles to cover every inch of the action on Ashe, supplementing and enhancing the analysis and storytelling from our roster of tennis voices,” said Jamie Reynolds, VP, Production. “As fans get invested in the great drama, athletes and personalities, we will reward them with a fresh and dynamic presentation to capture every nuance and moment on this grand stage, the largest in the sport.”

SPONSORSHIP & PROMOTION

FOX Sports formalized plans to hit the road for college football season via the FOX Sports 1 Opening Drive tour. The trip will see a full-sized tour bus wrapped in khaki fabric honoring the look made famous by Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh. The bus departs on Saturday from Ann Arbor and will hit eight more cities (Detroit, Chicago, Cincinnati, NYC, Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas and St. Louis) en route to its final destination of Salt Lake City for the showdown between Michigan/Utah which will be carried by FOX Sports 1 on Sept. 3 at 7p. “Iconic coaches and players have been immortalized in a variety of ways  whether it’s a bronze bust, a statue or a plaque  but rare is the man who is celebrated with a full-sized tour bus,” said Robert Gottlieb, FOX Sports Executive Vice President, Marketing. “We’re so excited to take this bus around the country, meet with fans and promote our great college football schedule.”

Following the announcement that Michael Waltrip Racing would not be fielding a full-time team for the Sprint Cup next year, longtime sponsor Aaron’s released a statement discussing the move. “We’ve had a great partnership with Michael Waltrip Racing for the past 15 years and they are like family to us,” the statement read. “We want to thank the MWR family for their hard work, passion and competitive spirit. They have played an important role in helping us build the Aaron’s brand over the years. NASCAR will be an important part of our future and we are evaluating options for 2016 and beyond. However, our first priority is on making the rest of the season a great one!”
