Good morning. It’s July 5, 2017 and this is your first early morning Jobs briefing!

With over $1 billion in expected revenues for 2017, esports, also known as competitive video gaming, is exploding. And with that growth comes a need for skilled professionals – but where to begin? Each week, we’re looking at one of the categories job-seekers (and job-curious) might want to consider.

This week: The Brands. There are currently over 50 non-endemic brands that have invested in esports. Some of these brands have specific esports departments – for example, Coca Cola, with their Coke Esports initiative, has created various successful esports tournaments. These brands are staffing heavily and are looking to for people with an experiential marketing and organizational background.
