ABC News’ Good Morning America will hold two separate live town hall discussions with Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican Presidential candidate Ted Cruz, leading up to Tuesday’s New York primary. Both town halls will air during GMA – The Clinton town hall will air live on Friday, April 15; the Cruz town hall airs Monday, April 18. Bravo’s first original scripted series, Girlfriends’ Guide To Divorce, is not splitting any time soon. It will air for at least five seasons thanks to a three-season pickup for the series, starring Lisa Edelstein. Renewed for seasons 3, 4 and 5, the show joins just a small club of series that get a triple-play renewal.
Bounce TV ordered a second season of original drama series Saints & Sinners, which is setting network records for viewership in its inaugural season. The network also slotted in a bunch of renewals, for sitcoms Mann & Wife for a third season, Family Time, for season 4, and In The Cut for a third season, as well as its stand-up comedy series Off The Chain for a fourth run. Additionally, journalist and TV personality Ed Gordon will produce and host the network’s first newsmagazine show, Ed Gordon. Additionally, Bounce scheduled another season of live boxing with the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) series PBC – The Next Round, and partnered with
The Trumpet Awards Foundation to present the exclusive national television premiere of The 25th Annual Trumpet Awards.
The Weather Co. is further investing in augmented reality with the launch of a new interactive presentation tool, Max Connect, and adding virtual sets to the company’s AR solution, Max Reality. Max Connect will allow presenters to seamlessly interact with AR elements in real time without having to turn their back to the audience, which is what tends to happen when they are using more cumbersome tools like hand tracking or a touch screen. The new virtual sets for Max Reality can be easily integrated into a station’s existing workflow and will empower presenters to quickly and easily pull together rich augmented reality visualizations.
