Univision Communications’ Upfront presentation has the theme “Proof of Passion,” highlighting the five passion points driving audience engagement: Soccer, News, Family, Music, and Drama. To that end: Starting in the summer of 2018, Univision Deportes will begin airing soccer’s UEFA Champions League. UCI launched Edicion Digital, a noon news show. Also ahead is family-friendly entertainment like Tu Cara Me Suena (Your Face “Sounds” Familiar), in which well-known celebrities will accept the challenge of singing live while impersonating a music icon, and game show A Jugar en Familia, executive produced by Simon Cowell.
