The 10-week series, hosted by Anthony Anderson, will put a spotlight on golf enthusiasts from Justin Timberlake to average people who all love the sport. SCI FI Channel, part of NBC Universal, is readying for its major rebranding effort to Syfy and its tagline “Imagine Greater” slated for July 7, reports B&C. Various locations in Manhattan will be at the epicenter of the rebranding effort and one marketing stunt includes giving away free wireless access for a year at Union Square and Times Square under the moniker “WyFy From Syfy.” The rebranding effort has been a two-year process with the goal to move the network toward a broader programming palette. Another rebranding initiative has Syfy building an interactive Imagination Park at Rockefeller Center displaying program set pieces from July 7-12, and furthermore the network will be a presenting sponsor of the Museum of Modern Art’s Tim Burton exhibit in November. Additionally, the network’s premiere of new drama Warehouse 13 will coincide with the rebrand launch, as it opens July 7 at 9p. Fine Living Network (FLN) ushers in a new weekend programming block called FLN is in the House, per Multichannel News.
