The Account Executive of Advertising Sales is a motivated, self-starter who has established agency and client relationships as they’re responsible for prospecting, selling, stewarding, and reporting on all business, as it relates to Advertising Sales. This employee will work externally with clients to maintain current business, develop new business and service overall client needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Canvas merchants/businesses on a daily basis to discover new advertisers
- Develop target accounts for all channels, as it relates to General Rate
- Identify demographic needs of advertising client (match client’s needs with best advertising networks/products)
- Develop effective advertising campaigns for customers utilizing all networks, products, and cable systems available
- Meet quarterly and annual revenue goals according to sales plan through a deep understanding of Great American Media’s products and available ad inventory
- Coordinate production of commercial between client and Production Manager to ensure its completion
- Communicate effectively between traffic coordinators and commercial inserters to ensure proper placement of ad
- Ensure all sales paperwork is accurate, complete and up to date
- Collect any and all outstanding balances on advertising accounts
- Perform other duties as assigned
