Cynopsis: Kids!

Good morning. It’s Friday, October 16, 2009, and this is your first early morning Kids briefing.

The Gotham Group partners with Italy-based Atlantyca Entertainment to produce a movie adaptation of author Pierdomenico Baccalario’s young adult Century action/adventure book series.  Published by Italy’s Edizioni Piemme, the book was recently released in the US by Random House.  Century follows the adventures of four teens and their families as they search for four ancient objects of power each connected to one of the four elements.  Baccalario is currently editor-in-chief at Atlantyca Entertainment, overseeing the development of the Code Lyoko book series. His other kid’s books include Ulysses Moore (Scholastic) and Candy Circle.  Atlantyca represents the foreign rights to a number of Edizioni Piemme’s properties.
