The CW is making a switch. Starting tomorrow, October 9, “Inside the NFL” will air Wednesdays at 9p, swapping time slots with drama “Joan,” which will now air Fridays at 9p. “Joan” debuted on October 2 to 290,000 total viewers.

NBCUniversal launched new content collection ExcellencE! on Peacock, in partnership with mission-driven media company, Group Black. FAST Channels available on Freevee can be accessed through the Freevee app, as well as within Fire TV and Prime Video.

Local News Live, Gray Media’s 24/7 streaming news network, has launched standalone apps for connected TVs and smartphones. The apps are available to download for free by searching “LNL” on Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, iOS and Android streaming devices. “Local News Live delivers a local perspective on national stories by tapping into the expertise of Gray journalists in 113 markets,” said Gray’s Chief Operating Officer Sandy Breland. “With this new streaming presence, our reach will expand to deliver that unmatched breaking news coverage and impactful information to a national audience.”

WEBFLiX, a vertical video solution for the open internet, has launched, aimed at helping content owners monetize their existing video creative content across the web. At launch, WEBFLiX’s first publisher clients are TIME and The Arena Group. “Typically, when people think of vertical video, they think of scrolling through content on social media apps. But users also enjoy the same scrolling experience on premium publishers across the open internet,” said Josh Markham, Co-founder at WEBFLiX. “Now, with WEBFLiX, publishers are able to take full advantage of the walled garden playbook by reaching audiences across the open internet while upcycling their video content.”

Comscore has renewed its partnership with Vizio’s Inscape. The measurement company will continue to leverage Inscape’s data in its measurement offering across all 210 local markets. “The integration of Inscape’s smart TV data not only enhances our TV measurement capabilities but also lays the groundwork for future advancements in cross-channel audience insights,” said David Algranati, Comscore’s Chief Innovation Officer. “This partnership will promote a better understanding of ad exposure and content engagement in a rapidly evolving media landscape.”

DIRECTV Advertising has struck a partnership with LiveRamp to enable LiveRamp’s Authenticated Traffic Solution across DIRECTV’s streaming platforms. LiveRamp’s solution allows brand marketers to connect their first-party data with DIRECTV’s deterministic user data. “Our deal with LiveRamp ushers in a new era for identity standards and reinforces our shared commitment to empowering marketers with greater flexibility, optionality and transparency,” said Matt Jamison, AVP, Head of Ad Sales Partnerships at DIRECTV Advertising.

Pixability announced the launch of GenAI Contextual Segments, an updated version of its YouTube ad inventory solution, powered by GenAI. The company’s new solution identifies types of content that specific personas have engaged with in the past and uses a GenAI-powered search tool to surface content that best aligns with a target audience’s interest. “As YouTube’s CTV reach exceeds all other platforms and its shorts content continues to grow across all devices, advertisers have realized they need to get this critical ad platform right,” said David George, CEO of Pixability. “At the same time, as the volume of content continues to grow, it’s become more and more challenging for advertisers to feel confident they are reaching their audiences efficiently and effectively. LoopMe, which uses AI to improve brand advertising performance, announced the launch of Brand Outcome Scores, an AI-powered media scoring tool. The solution provides advertisers with predictive scoring for their ad buys at both the programmatic bid-request and impression level. “The Brand Outcome Scores solution has one core goal in mind: ​​to ensure that brands only buy the ad requests that matter,” said Yuliia Loktionova, Director of Data Science. “This first-of-its-kind solution has the potential to truly revolutionize how marketers plan and execute their campaigns across mobile video, CTV, and display ads.”

Vizrt announced two of its cloud-ready video production switchers, TriCaster Vetar and TriCaster Now, are now available in Amazon Web Services Marketplace. Since its premiere on Sunday, September 15, “Sister Wives” has attracted 7.4 million cross platform viewers on TLC, Max and discovery+ and “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days” has attracted 6.9 million since its premiere on Sunday, September 1.

The season 33 premiere of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” drew 7.32 million total viewers in Live+7 across platforms, up 47% over Live+Same Day.

Through four games, the 2024 “TNF” on Prime season is averaging 15.31 million viewers P2+ in Nielsen’s Big Data + Panel measurement.
