Account Executive

The Account Executive, Sales is responsible for selling direct response air time for ION Television, and achieving quarterly and annual revenue goals.


  • Increase rates, activity, and share of business of assigned agency list to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
  • Establish and maintain strong relations with all short-form agencies, direct accounts and clients
  • Manage agency and client needs by managing inventory and schedules and assuring agency media needs and client marketing objectives are met
  • Develop new business, and grow existing business at agency and client direct level
  • Develop and execute quarterly and annual business plans related to account growth and development to achieve revenue goals
  • Communicate and position ION Television assets, audience and distribution growth, and program acquisitions to all clients on a regular basis
  • Maintain a thorough and extensive market knowledge including direct response category and industry trends, and competitive capabilities and distribution-reach trends
  • Collaborate with Inventory Management team to manage and maximize inventory optimization
  • Work with Pricing & Inventory Analytics Manager to create and review weekly metric reports on account and revenue trends
