The Wild Ride of Speedvision

“Radford Reborn” premieres today, April 14, following historic British automotive company Radford Motors as it sets out to create the Radford Type 62-2, a reimagined version of the fabled Lotus Type 62. The docuseries can be found on Speedvision, a cable channel relaunched last year and headed by Bob Scanlon, who co-founded the original in 1995. Scanlon explains why Speedvision is a wild ride.

Speedvision is back. Why now?

Now is the perfect time. The widespread popularity and adoption of free ad-supported FAST platforms has created a significant opportunity for recognized brands like ours that create content that targets a passionate and engaged audience. What’s more, our content is extremely attractive to advertisers, and features recognized, expert on-air talent.  Speedvision checks all those boxes and consequently we’ve had a huge first six months since our launch in Q4 2022. The Speedvision cable network might have gone away in the 2000s, but the audience never stopped loving the brand.  This enabled us to resurrect Speedvision as a FAST network and connect immediately with legions of car-passionates who loved the brand before and many more who are just discovering us for the first time.

Where can we find Speedvision?

Viewers can find Speedvision virtually everywhere, as our distribution growth since launch has been meteoric.  Just in the past month or so, we’ve launched on Amazon Freevee and Prime Video, on the Allen Media portfolio, and on FuboTV – and there are many more platforms adding us soon.  A full list of our platform partners can be found at speedvisionnetwork.com/howtowatch.  Our goal is to be available wherever the auto-passionate audience happens to be, all around the world.

“Radford Reborn” premieres tomorrow.  Why watch?

“Radford Reborn” epitomizes the blue-chip vehicle content that viewers find on Speedvision.  All-star mechanic Ant Anstead and former Formula 1 driving champ Jenson Button revive the Radford Coachbuilding Company and take on a high-risk, daunting challenge; design and build the very last gasoline powered supercar for the iconic British car brand, Lotus. “Radford Reborn” features Speedvision’s signature content formula of riveting storytelling, world-class production values, renowned experts, and the finest vehicles on the planet.  Our viewers are going to be blown away by it.

What’s next for Speedvision?

In short, more platforms and more shows.  “Radford Reborn ” is just the beginning of our original content rollout.  Speedvision will be launching more premium automotive entertainment in the coming weeks – so watch this space.  This is in addition to the 700+ hours of premium vehicle content we already have airing 24/7.  Viewers will get to ride shotgun with the best and brightest figures from the automotive and motorcycle world as they share their experiences and expertise only on Speedvision.
