The PGA TOUR hooked up another tech partnership, announcing a deal with Yahoo to offer fans free, live, and on-demand video content from its tournaments to fans around the world, sans cable subscription or authentication The deal began yesterday with the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am with viewers able to stream Featured Holes coverage from PGA TOUR LIVE during the early rounds of tournaments such as THE PLAYERS Championship and the FedEx Cup Playoffs. The deal will also see Yahoo offer global access to video on demand PGA TOUR content, including access to highlights and original content from tournaments, and a live, co-branded PGA TOUR leaderboard, which includes live play-by-play, shot-by-shot graphics, live audio, and VOD.
