WorldGaming and subsidiary Collegiate StarLeague picked up a heavyweight sponsorship package with JUICE Battery, described as “a new battery brand focused on powering today’s high-drain consumer devices.” The new partnership makes JUICE the presenting sponsor for a variety of esports tournaments and programming throughout the year, including WorldGaming’s 2018 Canadian Championship Series and Collegiate StarLeague’s 2018 North American Collegiate Grand Finals, and is valued in the seven figures. As part of the agreement, WorldGaming and Collegiate StarLeague will provide JUICE with ongoing activations and engagement opportunities for their brand with competitive gaming events and enthusiasts across North America. The new partnership also provides access to promotional and advertising opportunities through activations at ‘live’ events as well as for online programming.
“JUICE is a progressively minded company who sees the massive opportunity of esports affiliations,” said Wim Stocks, Managing Director of WorldGaming. “They have a desire for empowering players and providing them with the tools they need to showcase their talent. Our new partnership will bring many great opportunities for JUICE to engage and connect with the coveted and hard-to-reach Millennial and Gen Z demographics, the mainstay audiences for esports.”
