The good news on the gridiron continued on Sunday for the NFL. Overnight ratings rose by 7% overall, with CBS and NBC led the way with matching 12.3 ratings for both the Sunday national window and Sunday Night Football.
The Ravens-Steelers SNF clash was Sunday’s top primetime show with 12.3/21 overnight (not including digital) – up 12% from last year’s Week 4 (11.0/19 for Indy-Sea) and 3rd consecutive week of double digit increase vs. ’17. The 12.3/21 overnight on NBC was the best for a Ravens-Steelers rivalry matchup on Sunday Night Football since 2011 Week nine meeting (five SNF games) and up 6% from last year’s Balt-Pitt SNF game in Week 14.
