EBS released the finalists for this year’s Tempest Awards, which will be hosted by ESPN’s Arda Ocal. Luminaries at this year’s event will include 2019 Hall Of Fame Inductees: Ed Boon, Co-Creator of Mortal Kombat & Injustice and Creative Director at NetherRealm Studios and Sundance DiGiovanni, Co-Founder, Major League Gaming and CTRL. Receiving the first-ever Sentinel Award for promoting social causes will be Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo, while Alex ‘Goldenboy’ Mendez will attend to receive the Ambassador Award for On-Air Personality of the Year. In addition, EBS released its roster for The Watch List, designed to honor industry movers from all sides of the business – from C-level to up-and-comer – who are poised to have a breakout year.
