Pocket.watch, the burgeoning kids content company that counts Les Moonves, Robert Downey Jr., film and music producer Jon Landau, Third Wave Digital and United Talent Agency among its backers, is growing its executive ranks and partnerships. Stone Newman, formerly of Genius Brands International, is in as chief revenue officer. Newman will focus on developing Pocket.Watch YouTube channels as well as licensing and merchandise businesses. Newman was president of global consumer products licensing, worldwide content sales and marketing at Genius Brands; he also is a co-founder of Sababa Toys. Additionally, Pocket.Watch sealed its first content partnership, with HobbyKidsTV. Last week the company announced SNL’s Kenan Thompson is developing and producing sketch-comedy series Pocket.Watch Presents Skoogle.
